Have another photo of me from the other day.
it really depends how many sizes you’ve gone down. if you’re going between 14g and 12g or 16g and 14g for example, i doubt it would hurt a lot, it might feel uncomfortable, but your best bet is going to a piercer and have them put it in for you with a taper and some proper lubricant. anything bigger than one gauge at a time is not a good idea.
got a pkg todai.
good for you mate. give it a month or two to settle into it’s new size and then feel free to swap around your jewelry. you can do it a bit sooner if you’re swapping between non-porous materials and you’re gonna get a piercer to help you do it safely and in a clean environment! stuff like big pinchers, wood and other organics etc need to be left a bit later.
♡hello ladies and gents♡
(hi, this is my first submission ever…)
the septum piercing is one of the most beautiful piercings in my opinion. it was the first piercing i ever got and some years after the first i decided to get a second.
then i got bored an started stretching them. my piercer said to me that 2.5 or 3.2mm (each) would be the maximum.
several minutes ago i stretched the second one to a solid 8mm and i’m pretty happy with it.
in the other septum i have a 6mm silicone tunnel (but it’s very shy and you don’t see it very often… except for when i’m putting stuff through it)
I love the side view of my septum I want fancy jewelry perhaps I will stretch it a size up as well.
I haven’t submitted for a while, so here’s the thing. The size is now 9 mm, 1 mm more and I’ve reached the goal of 10 mm.
(The tags don’t have the 9 mm part, so I put 8 mm…)
